Sonic Performance: Week 6 -The finally

This creative study has now come to an end… or perhaps it’s the beginning of something new. 

This week has been transformative, in the sense that I’ve taken an idea and developed it into a live performance piece. It took me some time to find my direction, but I feel that I’ve achieved what I set out to do. 

The past few days have been focused on filming and editing the performance, and it’s now ready to share. I’ve created a dedicated page on my website where you can view the final piece. 

I want to thank you for following me on this Sonic Performance journey. I hope it has inspired you to create, experiment, and explore your own voice as an artist. 

One of the most challenging aspects of this project has been learning new software. Getting to grips with Ableton Live and the Ableton Push 3 took up more creative time than I initially expected. Even now, I feel as though I’ve only scratched the surface of what these tools can do, and it’s something I would really like to continue exploring. Once I found my flow, I realised just how much potential and enjoyment there is within this way of working. 

I’m still at the very beginning of my creative journey, and I know my voice will continue to evolve over time. But I hope you’ve enjoyed following along so far, I’m excited to see where it takes me next.  Full Performance Here...
