KORA

Based in Bristol, KORA is a project shaped by atmosphere, contrast, and storytelling. Drawing from a wide range of influences: folk, metal, progressive, ambient, tribal, and ethereal textures. our music explores the tension between the raw and the refined, the ancient and the unknown.

Our writing is inspired by mythology, Norse legends, and imagined worlds, not as escapism, but as a way of exploring timeless human themes: conflict, transformation, ritual, and resilience. There’s a focus on narrative and mood, using sound as a way to build space and connection.

As the lead vocalist and one of the primary writers, my role is to give voice to these stories—to find the emotional thread that runs through each track and bring it forward with clarity and intention.

KORA is not bound by genre or convention. It’s an evolving sound, rooted in atmosphere and purpose.
